Cement/ Retarders

Cement retarders are used to increase the available pumping time for a cement slurry . As the down hole temperature increases the thickening time for any given slurry decreases. The use of retarders allows the operator to design cement slurries with tailored thickening times giving confidence that the slurry will not set prematurely.

CR-104 is a lignosulphonate cement retarder for use when the bottom hole circulating temperature is up to 200F.	CR-104
CR-104L is a 40% aqueous suspension of our powdered lignosulphonate cement retarder.	CR-104L
CR-105 is a modified lignosulphonate retarder for use when the bottom hole circulating temperature is below 240F.	CR-105
CR-106L is a liquid lignosulphonate retarder for use when the bottom hole circulating temperature is below 220F.	CR-106L
