Spacers are viscous fluids, often containing a surfactant, pumped in
front of the cement slurry to remove the drilling fluid from the formation
and the casing. The casing and formation must be clean and water wet in
order for the cement to cure and bond properly. Spacers are usually weighted
such that they are slightly heavier than the drilling fluid they will
be displacing but slightly lighter than the cement which follows it.

CSP-0500 Cementing Spacer is designed
for separating cement slurries and water based drilling muds. It is
also designed to be compatible with both fluids. |

CSP-500 |
CSP-0700 is an aqueous solution of
several additives designed to help remove water base drilling fluids
from various types of producing formations. This non-acid mixture
effectively lowers the viscosity of mud systems and aids in maintaining
the solids in a dispersed state. |

CW-37 Chemical Washis a surfactant
solution designed for use ahead of cement slurries to separate them
from oil based drilling mud. |

CW-37 |
CW-42 is a solution of water and mud
dispersing surfactant. It is used ahead of a cement slurry to separate
the slurry from the drilling mud and to wash the residual mud from
the formation and pipe surfaces. |
